Every year, we have cultural days at Kukkolaforsen where we showcase our genuine cultural village. We show how we build the fishing docks,
cultural village and fishing museum. The sauna village has guided tours and sauna broom making.
An old house in the culture village is open for viewing and has an art exhibition.

Take the opportunity to try rafting

Experience the rapids up close on a safe and guided whitewater rafting trip through the flowing waters of Kukkolaforsen. Our experienced guides will introduce paddling techniques and safety procedures before heading out onto the river.

Rafting takes place in five-metre inflatable boats with space for one rower and up to ten passengers. The excursion lasts approximately two hours from departure at the restaurant until your return – during this time, you will descend the rushing rapids twice.
